There is something to truly pay attention to in the 2022 mid-term elections. Historically this is a gain for the opposition party nearly every single time. We are talking only twice in the modern era has a president gained seats in the House for the initial midterm elections, and only thrice in the Senate. So what happens if the Republicans fail to win the day this November?
After all of the weird things that happened in the 2020 election, could we actually handle the narrative that a really unpopular president who forced an unpopular agenda down the throats of the US, would buck the trend of an historically predictable ass kicking? Will the citizens who sat back and turned the other way while the election was stolen in 2020, sit back again and watch it happen once more? Even if you do not think that it was some deep state plan to remove Trump from office, can you not admit to yourself that something odd occurred? That maybe some local officials took it upon themselves to manipulate the numbers in their precincts? You know the election that we were told over and over again was the most secure in history of the country. Yeah the election in which polls showed Trump behind ranging from 10%-15% in some polls. The election that showed he had no shot at winning and during the COVID-era produced the largest voter turnout in US history. Yeah that one. The one that had the first incumbent ever, lose while gaining votes from his previous election. An election in which Trump and Biden both set records for votes in spite of claims of voter suppression coming from the Left. Yeah that election. You know the one where they covered up the Hunter Biden story and deplatformed anyone who tried to talk about it. But you know a lot of people just wrote it off and went back to their lives because you know the “Orange Man Bad.”
The most secure election in history…
So what happens if the Republicans do not take back the House and/or the Senate? What will be the reasoning then? Surely they cannot blame this on El Naranja. What will keep the faith of the entire system? It sure won’t be the “vote ‘em out” mantra. It sure will not be the “wait until our guys are back in contol”. So what will keep half of the country in line? If the faith in the system is completely gone, what is there to do?
My guess is that the half of the country that does not want to be inundated by Wokeism at work will want to separate. My guess is the crowd that does not want crossdressers reading to their kids at school will have had enough. Can you honestly say that the armed population who just saw their own supposed protectors of their God-given right to bear arms will not want to continue pretending that the federal government is the answer. My guess is the states that are waiting around for federal help with the borders, will have to do what they should have done two years ago and declare an invasion by illegal immigrants. My guess is if this occurs, one way or another, there will be no election in 2024. I cannot say for certain, but that water will start to get hot too quickly and the frog will jump out before it gets boiled.
It seems like two paths are emerging in front of the people left in what was once remembered as the united States. It still seems that a lot can happen in that time, but look for November 2022 to let you know how fast these two paths will emerge. The first being the growth of the one world government, by one world I mean the US and most of Europe. The other path will be the decentralization of the US into the uS. I do not think the world as we know it or at least what we were told that it was will last through the decade. It might not last past 2022. We shall see. These are not the only paths, but these are the most likely ones. How the country will look in the future is yet to be determined, but the writing was on the wall when the electronic voting systems were rolled out after the Bush-Gore debacle in the 2000 election.
I also think that the overturning of Roe v. Wade will give the appearance that a chance to cook the books this election will be because of legitimacy. The problem is that the polling numbers do not show a major swing. Something else will need to occur or it will be too obvious that this is the move. But like I have written before, the lies are not to deceive anymore, but rather to point out just how much the ruling class despises you. Will the population handle it with unremarkable whimper and laugh it off with good hashtags? Will the states decide to do what they were originally designed to be able to and protect its citizens? Or will the population take the bait and recat violently?
I think a return to the Jeffersonian Tradition is the best path forward and this would fall into the decentralization bucket. You saw a little bit of this when governors stood up during COVID tyranny, but you also saw a lot of tyranny from governors. That was not the way that it was designed to be. They also did not do enough to hold the federal government accountable for side-effects of the policies and the last effects of all their decisions. There are still several states completely controlled by Republicans who have not ended COVID emergencies. Believe it or not, Texas is still under an emergency. This is not Jeffersonianism. The Jeffersonian Tradition would be a return to the Constitution as ratified and return everything other than Interstate Commerce and National Defense to the states. This would allow states to foster their own cultures and be a safeguard against the chaos of the national elections from year to year. This tradition was stabbed in 1861 and it bled out in 1913. A return to this tradition is the best step forward for everyone. The end does not have to be a sad thing. It does not have to be a bad thing. Like The Bible tells us, “To every thing there is a season…”
