I spent most of this year feeling a bit defeated, yet optimistic. What I mean by this strange sentence is that I know we will win this battle, yet I was defeated as to how. I spent the mid-terms predicting, without even a surprising accuracy, the results. The carnival called politics has stuck around for far too many seasons. It is the most boring thing around at this moment, yet we are constantly told how important it is and how the “next election will be the election to end all elections.” Just like the election before it and the election before that because “your vote is your voice” or some other jerk-off platitude they feed the masses. That was the predictable conclusion of the past 160 years or so of American politics. The ever-expanding Executive coinciding with the ever-expanding Empire has brought us to the door of the fates that have decided many governments of the past. I do not think that we will lose this fight, but the path to victory is what is so cloudy.
I have spoken with my family and they asked me why I stopped writing. I said that writing political commentary in a world where stolen elections is the tradition of American politics, seems rather futile. There have been a handful of times over the past several months where I started typing, but just did not end up posting it. I think about writing my thoughts most of the time, but I did not see the point. I found that very point here just yesterday.
With every single thing around coming at you with the propaganda of the State and the postmodern agenda, we find ourselves nearly without an ally. They even took MLB and NASCAR. The thing that has remained an ally of the people has been the thing that came from our Scots-Irish ancestors, and that is country music. Country music remains a friend of the people on this planet who still bother standing against the corruption of the State and the poisoning of the minds en masse. This absolute gem came up in the algorithm and I have listened to it on repeat since.
The lyrics to this sound like he was a reader of this here Substack.
Then after I was getting ready to forward it to some people, I realized that others caught this as well. It was blowing up. It hit me that just because we might not know the way forward, does not mean that we stop pushing. If we keep pushing, we will find our footing and have stood our ground. The path forward may be foggy and down a winding road through a dark forest, but it is one that you have to take.
"Lord, it's a damn shame
What the world's gotten to
For people like me and people like you
Wish I could just wake up and it not be true
But it is, oh, it is
Living in the new world
With an old soul
These rich men north of Richmond
Lord knows they all just want to have total control
Wanna know what you think
Wanna know what you do
And they don't think you know, but I know that you do
'Cause your dollar ain't shit, and it's taxed to no end
'Cause of rich men north of Richmond.”
It does not matter if you are confused on what to do next. Just fight back in the only way that you know how. Remember who the enemy is and remember you are not alone. This song was an absolute treat from a guy who just seemed to be fed up. Find your own courage in this fight and remember that the politicians sold you out long ago. There is no waiting this one out. This fight is coming to you whether you are ready for it or not. Just look at what happened in Utah. There are things in life worth fighting for. It may differ from person to person, but my family and liberty are worthy causes. It is much better to start pushing back now instead of when they are kicking down your door. Remember that your ancestors fought and scraped to get us here to this point and we need to do the same for our kids and grandkids.
I will post from time to time. It will not be as frequent as before, but to the readers that I have, you are not alone. As always, thank you for reading my blog.
